A Literary Journey through Italian Cities: Part 1 (Rome, Florence, Venice and Naples)

Experience Turin, Milan, and Naples through literary texts written by award-winning contemporary writers Marco Lodoli, Aldo Cazzullo, Tiziano Scarpa and Antonella Cilento. Each week we’ll explore a different city by reading and discussing excerpts that will lead us through each city’s past, as well as explore its cultural life, local traditions, classic cuisine and current events.

This course is geared towards intermediate students, but it’s also a refresher course for more advanced students of the Italian language. The course uses literary texts provided by the teacher, which serve as a stimulating source for in-depth analysis, offering students an outstanding opportunity to develop and strengthen their reading, speaking and writing skills, as well as their vocabulary.
