1. Payments
Acceptable forms of payment are: online by credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard).
2. Class size
Unless otherwise indicated, a course will have a maximum of 10 participants. Should a proposed course not be offered due to insufficient registration, we will offer the participant the option to switch to another course or to receive a full refund.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
ItalCultura is a Not for Profit Organization committed to offering courses as affordable as possible. In view of our not-for-profit status and our commitment to our instructors, we apply the following rules:
Upon withdrawal from a class before the term has begun, the course fee will be fully refunded. Upon withdrawal within the first two lessons, the course fee will be refunded minus the pro-rated cost of the class/es attended as well as the $ 50 administration fee. No refunds beyond the second week of a term. No refunds or credit will be given for classes not attended. Make-up classes are available to the student during the same week only that the class is missed. Permission must be requested to the administrators. There will be no reimbursement for missed classes or missed private lessons.
Cancellation of Private Lessons:
If students are unable to attend their scheduled private lessons, notification must be given 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.

4. Transfer Between Courses
All requests to be transferred from one course to another must be approved by ItalCultura. Any additional tuition or fees resulting from transferring are payable immediately. NO CHANGES are accepted after the second class.
5. Textbooks
Textbooks, workbooks and CDs are available for purchase in our office. Once purchased, they are non-refundable.
6. Pictures
Students, members, and attendees of events and programs should be aware that ItalCultura and the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago may, from time to time, have photographs taken for use in marketing materials.
7. Liability of ItalCultura
The liability of ItalCultura and its staff is limited to intent and gross negligence. ItalCultura also accepts no liability for the cancellation of its services due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, fire, floods, war, official orders and all other circumstances beyond the control of the contractual parties).
8. Open access
All classes and programs are open to everyone without discrimination on the basis of race, color, nationality and/or ethnic origin.
