LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to areas of immediate relevance (e.g. basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, work).
• Communicate in simple, routine tasks that require a simple and straightforward exchange of information on familiar and usual topics.
• Describe in simple terms aspects of one's background, the surrounding environment and issues related to immediate needs.

METHODOLOGY

• Interactive and communicative activities, such as couple dialogues, role-plays on everyday situations and small real-life simulations.
• Use of authentic materials and digital resources (e.g. audio, video, and short readings) to make learning more engaging and anchored in reality.
• Group work and collaborative projects, which allow students to practice the language cooperatively, exchanging ideas and solving small tasks together.
