In the Beginner levels, students will manage key vocabulary and fundamental grammar, and will be able to read, write and speak about simple topics in the present, past and future tenses.

Grammar coverage includes c’è and ci sono, possessive adjectives, and impersonal constructions. Communication goals include describing a city or a neighborhood, talking about one’s family, planning a holiday and reserving a hotel room, writing a postcard. Classes meet once a week for ten weeks (20 hours).
